Due to time constraints, I was asked to mainly assist with the WG Holiday gift this year by creating the main illustration that will be used for the agency’s social media pages and printed cards for the gift boxes.
RESEARCH & BRAINSTORMING
New Year And New Changes
Due to the changes in management and wanting to start thinking about rebranding the agency, the idea of a new year or change was proposed when picking out this year's client gift and should be considered for the illustration. Rejected Gift Ideas from previous years were reviewed, and suggestions from the Studio team were looked into. Accompanying Visual Concepts were researched and gathered for the presentation.
SKETCHING
FURTHER IDEATION
I started sketching possible ideas for the holiday illustration that would accompany this year's gift: a sparkling margarita mix bottle and a star-shaped iced cube tray. The patterns and images gathered from Pinterest and the brainstorming pages were the main inspiration. Going over the sketches and ideas with my supervisors, two were marked with a blue mark to be looked into and refined further.
